Base kits, capacitors, lug kits, length adapters, and other accessories may be used to modify and convert standard products for special
applications. Designed for quick installation, these accessories allow increased flexibility with minimum stock.
Adapter converts 5-1/2” diameter A.O. Smith Fan
Motors to 6-1/2” diameter. The adapter can be easily
mounted on standard, off-the-shelf A.O. Smith 48 Frame
(5-1/2”) Fan and Blower Motors. The motor, with adapt-
er mounted, can be used to replace most old standard
and special 56 Frame (6-1/2”) Fan Motors, Engineered
and tested for maximum reliability and versatility.
Use on 5” & 5-1/2” A. O. Smith-extended through bolt
motors to gain additional length to fit in old base. Kit
contains adapter plate with mounting ring, (4) split rings,
(8) nuts and (4) lock washers.
Fits 5” motors with a 90 degree bolt pattern and 5-1/2”
motors with 60-120 degree and 90 degree bolt patterns.
